Labour Department fails to get the workers released from the factory at A-102/6, hundreds of workers march towards the DLC office for a gherao

It is to be noted that some workers of the above factory have been forcibly made to work with the help of goons hired by owners. Hundreds of workers had surrounded the factory ever since today morning. The owners in collusion with the police have called heavy police force which could initiate a lathi-charge any time. When several democratic organisations are making a phone call to police they are saying that they would do anything to maintain "peace". We can surely understand what kind of peace they want and what they are upto. The workers had even called two inspector from the labour department through phone but they did not show any interest in getting the workers released. Now around 1000 workers are coming out of the Wazirpur industrial area and marching towards DLC office, Ashok Vihar for a gherao and they will not return from there unless strict action is taken against the owners not following the labour laws. Police is continuously threatening the workers and intimidating them to take "action".

All the friends are requested to keep the pressure up on Delhi Police.
